Magecraft Sounds and The Contemporary Austin present Ecofuturist Conduction, an interactive improvised show for k-5th graders, their adults, and older humans with a sense of whimsy! An electroacoustic quintet will lead us in an improvised set that helps us remember how we can be Nature's partners in creating technology for a better future. Conducted and hosted by Kenzie Slottow with the gestural vocabulary of Conduction and an improv theater approach. Presented under the shade of the trees at Laguna Gloria's outdoor amphitheatre with a view of Lady Bird Lake.

The Very 'Rary 2026
Ecofuturist Conduction will be the opening performance of The Very 'Rary 2026, an annual afternoon of art and amazement benefitting the Contemporary Austin's k-12 arts education programs. This year is the Very 'Rary's fifth year! The theme is Ecofuturism: envisioning a future where ecology and technology are synergized through imagination and creativity. Explore the grounds for hands-on artmaking, wearable design, and interactive installations!
