Density512 is "a chamber orchestra and collective of brave and open musicians who champion contemporary programming. We connect with the people of Austin, TX by producing imaginatively curated experiences, amplifying the voices of groundbreaking and emerging artists, and cultivating interdisciplinary collaborations." I've been happily playing flute and piccolo with the collective since 2016, and producing shows as well as conducting improvising ensembles with Density512 since 2020. Tetractys is a concert series and collective of musicians cultivating a thriving new music scene in Austin, TX. I met most of the Tetractys crew through the Density 512 collective in summer 2017. Since then I've really enjoyed being one of the flutists on their rotating roster.
